Hi Jess,

I started doing some research and rough sketches and had a few questions.
Two rough sketches are attached, please let me know if you have any
comments or corrections on them.

In the first sketch of the mountain forests, I used a 3D sectional view
like the typical "watershed" diagrams.  Is that what you want or would you
prefer a more 2D illustration without the cut section?

I found the following descriptions of the different forest types. Please
let me know if these are correct, and if there are any characteristics you
could add that would be helpful when illustrating:
*Elfin forest*: Dwarf forest, shorter trees, blend into stunted vegetation.
*Tabonuco forest*: Tall trees, straight trunks, 1st branches high above
ground.  Low light at ground, rich flora.
*Moist forest*: Green, lots of vegetation?
*Dry forest*: Deciduous trees, shed leaves during drought?

Once I have your feedback, I'll get started on some more refined sketches.
