Two Events to Highlight Hubbard Brook's Ice Storm Experiment in Concord EVENT ONE Ice Storms in the Northern Forest: Symposium with Hubbard Brook Scientists Friday, March 6, 2020 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center 2 Institute Drive Concord, NH 03301 Join a panel of scientists from the Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study in a lunchtime symposium about the science of ice storms in the northern forest. Researchers will present key findings from their study of the long-term ecological impacts of the 1998 ice storm and the first-ever ice storm experiment, conducted at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest in the White Mountains in 2016–2017. A buffet lunch will be served, followed by a panel presentation and discussion with audience members.
