Xavier Cortada creates water paintings with Hubbard Brook investigator Mark Green

>From November 28 through January 14, at the Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment
in Hialeah, FL, the CLIMA 2016 exhibit will feature new works and participatory 
eco-art projects by Xavier Cortada. Cortada's art was inspired by visits to the 
Florida Coastal Everglades, Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, and H.J. Andrews 
Experimental Forest in Oregon.

Geoff Wilson Shares Hubbard Brook Climate Science with a New Audience
Earlier this month, Hubbard Brook's Geoff Wilson was invited to speak at the North
American Skier and Snowboarders for Christ annual conference at Loon Mountain. Loon
is Hubbard Brook's neighboring ski area and economic center to the local community.
Geoff spoke about Hubbard Brook's winter climate change research as it pertains 
to the ski industry and the value of building relationships across belief systems
in order to better understand how humans view their role in the environment.
" I have long enjoyed talking about science and religion, and living in a small 
community has meant that I have developed friendships with people with vastly different
worldviews than I hold. I was honored to speak at their conference."
