We are now advertising for the position of Science Education and Outreach Coordinator here at CSUMB. I am writing to ask for your help in advertising this position. This is a full-time, state funded position that includes a full benefits package and access to affordable campus housing.

The position will support science education, student success, and outreach components of several initiatives within the CSUMB College of Science. The individual in this position will also supervise staff that include an administrative and outreach support specialist as well as, two graduate student assistants. 

Education requirements are a Ph.D. in Science Education or Science (preferably ocean/marine science), or a Masters degree in these areas with at least two years of post-degree experience.

The priority screening deadline for this position is October 2nd, 2017 with an anticipated start date of Spring 2018.
