El Yunque National Forest (EYNF), located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico will soon be advertising and filling a career ladder Ecologist Resources – GS-0408-5/7/9.  This position will support the Ecosystems Team working the soil, water, air, flora, database management and forest vegetation programs on the EYNF.  The purpose of this outreach notice is to gauge interest in the position and to alert interested individuals of this upcoming employment opportunity.

The position is expected to be advertised on www.usajobs.gov<http://www.usajobs.gov> in May.

Interested persons should respond using the Outreach Response Form (enclosed) no later than April 27, 2016 via email to prios at fs.fed.us<mailto:prios at fs.fed.us> with the following in the email Subject: Outreach Ecologist El Yunque.
