[LTER-luq-pi] Fwd: photos

I like the drawings. The scale of the Catena drawing seems too large if 
we are trying to represent small watersheds. The 3-D drawing will be 
helpful, but we need to pin down what we are trying to communicate. 
Labels that mix precipitation (Moist, dry) with forest community types 
should be avoided. If we want to represent a transect, the river may 
need to be straightened a bit.

I wonder whether we couple couple these drawings with a representation 
of the DEM for the mountain from three directions? Then the 3-D drawing 
could represent the activities we conduct on the Sonadora transect .
