[LTER-im] IMPORTANT INFO about 2022 Meetings and the March VWC

Good Morning IMC,

Lets begin planning our meetings for the year!

The 2022 LTER All Scientists Meeting<https://lternet.edu/2022-all-scientists-meeting/> (ASM) will be held the week of September 19-23, with the 19th reserved for LTER Committee meetings, and the next 3 days reserved for the science sessions, workshops, socials, and other LTER happenings. We anticipate that the LTER Network will be providing support for an IM from each site to attend this conference in person. This means we all need to get busy planning a couple things:

  1.  The agenda for our IMC annual meeting (Sept 19th, 2022)
  2.  IMC's participation in ASM programs, which might include session proposals, workshops, social events, etc.

To help get us all on the same page, IMExec has created a couple of planning worksheets, one for the IMC annual meeting and one for ASM, for you to enter your ideas, proposals, and planned participation. The worksheets are in this folder:

At our upcoming VWC on March 14th, we will be discussing these meetings and trying to gin up some enthusiasm and collaboration to plan these activities. More information on the VWC will be forthcoming, but you can help shape it by thinking about these meetings, and adding your ideas to the spreadsheet in advance.
