The meeting theme is "Harnessing the Ecological Data Revolution".

Although abstracts relevant to the meeting's theme are encouraged, any timely and coherent subject of broad interest to ecologists will be considered. Abstracts will be peer reviewed using the guidelines described in the abstract calls.

Apply for Travel Support

To help make the ESA Annual Meeting more accessible for those facing barriers to attend, the Governing Board has set aside $20,000 from the Opportunity Fund to help support attendee attendance this year. Applicants must be an ESA member to be eligible.

Many of ESA’s sections and chapters offer competitive travel awards for each year’s meeting. This year, there will be one application form and one deadline for all sections and chapters, as well as the Opportunity Fund. More details will be announced in early 2020.

Student Presentation Award (Buell and Braun)

The Murray F. Buell Award (talks) and the E. Lucy Braun Award (posters) recognize outstanding student presentations at the Annual Meeting. Any student who is the presenting author of a contributed presentation is eligible. This year’s submission deadline will be Thursday, February 27th.
