[LTER-im] invitation to contribute to 2018 ASM planning

Hello IMs,

Preparations for the 2018 ASM are proceeding in earnest, and the Executive
Board is forming a committee to address planning for the meeting. The EB
would appreciate IM representation on that committee, and would welcome the
contribution of an IM who is interested and willing to participate. The IM
representative on the committee would also provide updates to the IMC
regarding the meeting preparations. The commitment level is not too onerous
with just one VTC per month planned during the fall, though the activity
level would likely increase in the spring as we draw closer to the meeting
date. Note that the LTER-wide call for sessions and talks is expected in
the fall.

Please contact Marty and someone from IM Exec If you are interested and
willing to contribute to this important effort.
