[LTER-im] Navigating the new landscape of EDI, NCO, DataONE and LTER IMC

Hello LTER Site IMs,

Earlier today EDI and DataONE both shared their newsletters. These provide
context for discussion of the new landscape of EDI, NCO, DataONE and how
their work is relevant to the LTER IMC.

Please read the attached executive summary which I asked Emery to write for
us. Optionally, the longer document written by IM Exec is available.

There will be opportunities for comment on this before the mid-April
meeting.

Next Wednesday, Feb. 8th is the next IM Exec vtc. If you have something you
want on the agenda please let me know before then.

A week from Monday, Feb 13, is the next IMC Water Cooler with the topic of
LTER IMS Guidelines. The draft to review was attached to an email from
Kristin dated 13 January, titled
