Following my colleagues recommendations, the deadline to submit your Databits article has been moved to January 15th, 2018.
Thank you for your patience and your attention to this. We have already received some articles. My communication is better now so I can take care of business using my phone.

I agree with Don that a January 15th deadline would work better, with maybe a mid to late February publication. I will also look at David Blankman's article (I actually think it may be my turn to do that).

I do remember you saying December, but I think a new reminder message to the IM mailing list would be good. Perhaps given the upcoming holidays we say January 15th as the deadline? 

I will take a look at David Blankman’s article this week.

I don't know if you received my message about changing the deadline to December 31, 2017 and publishing it in February 2018 (to be sincere, I don't  remember the publishing date I suggested). ..

I also sent you a copy of the second article we received earlier this week.

Maybe is my intermittent disconnection but I have not received your feedback.

I need to tell Jason and the IMEXEC when is this dealine and remind the other 5 authors about it.

Thanks for your kind words and empathy. You are very sweet.

Things are a little bit better now but we are still without an office of our own to work.  The local Forest Service agency, lent us a place in their conference room and although it is not an ideal arrangement to

produce a master piece,  it is a good way to get going.

First, let me tell you that I have 800+ emails in my Inbox without  reading, so I apologize if you have sent me a message and I didn't respond to it.

I want to make sure we publish our next Databits...maybe I will write  my memories of living the aftermath of a vindictive hurricane...

Nevertheless, we need to move the target date for publishing for later.  Up to this week,  I didn't have electricity and a place to work since the M event  destroyed my building. The Univerzity of Puerto Rico and my house still lack  electricity.

I am confident that everything will go back to a relative normalcy  by December. (I am afraid that normalcy will be different for me from now on).

Fortunately, we have been temporarily placed in the IITF building of  the local Forest Service and my access to Wi-Fi will become more regular.

So, let's target for a February 2018 issue and have a new deadline  for submitting by December 2017. (I hope my USA colleagues agree with these  dates. I am open to suggestions).

My apologies for these changes. I am really looking forward to  read all your articles. This is my favorite network project.

Please let me know if you can still write your article. Below are the  different types of articles we feature and remember that style and length of the article are up to you but we would appreciate if you can  send it to us in a Word format.
