[LTER-im] LTER, InCommon, and user accounts with DataONE...

Dear IM,

As of today (22 February 2016), the LTER Network is no longer a member of
the InCommon Federation. Our agreement with InCommon has expired, and due
to the ramp-down of the LNO, will not be renewed. Although InCommon
membership has many broad benefits, to date, LTER only used it for
authenticating with DataONE. If you did rely on this service, you may still
logon to DataONE (now at search.dataone.org) using either your home
institution, if they are a member of InCommon, or using either a Google or
Orchid identity.
