[LTER-im] PASTA Staging environment offline until further notice...

Dear IM,

It appears that something went awry with kernel logging on
package-s.lternet.edu after last Wednesday evening's patching that resulted
in excessive log messages being written to disk, which ultimately filled
the disk. Although we do not know the specific cause of this issue, purging
the errant log files and rebooting seems to have corrected the issue. We
will be monitoring package-s.lternet.edu more closely over the coming days
to ensure that it does continue to operate as expected. As such, the PASTA
Staging environment is open again for normal operations. Please let us know
if you experience any odd behavior on PASTA Staging or any of the PASTA
environments. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Sincerely,
Mark
