FYI to all IM's etc., I just cleaned and re-merged the latest version of my
notes into notes.md located here: https://github.com/lter/LTERIM. Click on
the notes.md file to see them in your browser, and the little "raw" tab
will let you see them as an unformatted document, like when you click "view
source" on a webpage, if you like that better. There are a few instructions
in the README.md (rendered on the front page) for how to contribute either
through git hub or just by emailing an admin.
If you'd like to use the git-svn (Subversion) bridge, I've figured out the
work-around for setting it up on OS X, and I can help you out with that.
This way if you are more comfortable in the Subversion environment or have
your notes there, you don't need to migrate to or learn a new system.
* I did not get the names of all the students attending the precipitation
anomalies section, and I included in that part of the notes a few links to
resources regarding precipitation, groundwater, and tree interception that
I know were of interest to a few students there. I'm including in this
email a few connections from that session in hopes that the information can
get to the right person, or to the group as a whole. You all are also
welcome to contribute to the notes, also.
Thanks, Fox
