Hi folks,
The ESA communications and engagement section has developed a "best in
practice" award that some of you might consider. At least one member of the
team needs to be a member of the section , but section membership is only
$5 on top of ESA membership.

It's a nice bit of acknowledgement and comes with a small honorarium, but
maybe most important, a way of inspiring others and sharing our best work.

Hello ESA C&E community!

Our Best in Practice Award <http://tinyurl.com/yc5mn7ut>($400) deadline has
been extended for one more week to July 10th! Please consider applying or
nominating-someone else!

Best in Practice Award decisions will be based on:
-Societal Impact
-Demonstrated or advances “best practices” in engagement/communication
-Innovative Approach
-Inclusivity.

Nominations can be for individuals or teams w/at least one team member a
member of the C&E Section.

There is also a Best Poster Award <http://tinyurl.com/ya8sb86p> ($200) for
the ESA 2020 Annual Meeting. That deadline is July 15th.

This Best Poster award can recognize excellence in:
-visual science communication
-communication and engagement projects
-the broader impacts aspects of a research project.
