There IS an #education channel on LTER slack workspace (with 8 members). To add yourself to it, click on the plus sign to the right of channels and browse channels. Since the #eoc channel only has 2, so far, let's deprecate that one.
Thanks, Marty

Alan brings up a good continuing track for discussion.
I did not see an existing edu channel on LTER slack, so I added #eoc.
I also started a document to collect and share insights/restrictions that we are discovering with regard to our adaptation strategies.
Please share information that you think can help guide your colleagues in EOC. Of course, these are simply insights, and we each need to receive final guidance from our host institutions.

This new document and our planning document from yesterday now co-reside in a Covid-19 folder in the highest level of our shared drive.

Hi Alan and all--
For resources and active working groups, Cora set up a document here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KT71ahGKvdOfnwG3EQSbQKjeK_yZauj1RlrdVKNPrCs/edit?usp=drivesdk<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__docs.google.com_document_d_1KT71ahGKvdOfnwG3EQSbQKjeK-5FyZauj1RlrdVKNPrCs_edit-3Fusp-3Ddrivesdk&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=Nr2Du23maISmPVjEUPMvJCJvC6VZfldqLhLsUYLz8uw&m=dqH5sGpB6phx4S1pF7ZecRIh9NTb3Z2LcTY2epWvL7s&s=CnChCMKvJ4CsCnDLl83xJZgJwu44SPMwoeeMeQezJQM&e=>
For questions, or to alert folks to major new resources, I would still use the list or the slack channel (sign up here: https://slack.lternet.edu/<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__slack.lternet.edu_&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=Nr2Du23maISmPVjEUPMvJCJvC6VZfldqLhLsUYLz8uw&m=dqH5sGpB6phx4S1pF7ZecRIh9NTb3Z2LcTY2epWvL7s&s=EfbzFSbQ_qeKzFarubnKCRbjbSJ5eeqXF2qhgDND4uI&e=>)
The email list is set up to allow postings without moderation IF you are using the email address that is signed up on the list. It won't recognize email aliases, so those messages may be delayed until I can approve them.
Thanks,
Marty

Hi, Folks.
Please forgive me if this was addressed yesterday, but did we decide to set up a way to exchange ideas, questions, concerns about K-12 programming in this time of Covid-19? For instance, I’m having a bunch of questions about the whole issue of limitations for virtual connections to K12 students that came up and would love to be able to address these. Should we just use our list and email?
