[LTER-diversity] MEETING REMINDER: Friday, March 13

Dear LTER Diversity Committee,

We will hold our first meeting of the renewed LTER diversity committee
tomorrow.
After a brief review of recent diversity-related activities, we'll spend
the majority of this first meeting on introductions and idea-gathering. To
facilitate capturing ideas, we'll use a *shared google doc for agenda and
notes

For introductions, I'll ask for:

   Name

   Site and role
   -

   Relevant experience or interest
   -

   Favored ideas or approaches for improving diversity, equity and
   inclusion in the LTER network (doesn't need to be original, a +1 to someone
   else's idea or doubling down on current strategies is OK)


We'll only be able to allocate a minute each for introductions -- and
clearly some ideas will require a bit more background and might benefit
from sharing links. Please feel free to start jotting things down in the
agenda or the *ideas document*

a google-associated email address for you. It's a big committee and we want
to get moving quickly, so I've added a google document for people to begin

I've also moved over background documents and activities from the the
current diversity committee (in the 2015-2020 folder) and am extracting a
few key documents for your reference.
