Communication Committee:

I know that several of us were interviewed by Laura Bartock for her Masters thesis. Here is a copy of her thesis and a link to a presentation she made on the findings.

Looking forward to reconnecting at ASM!

Marcia

Hi Marcia,

Thanks so much! Here is the link to the video of my presentation: https://youtu.be/hzIIc4DhBJg?t=9m20s

I'm also working on having my thesis published (open access) through ProQuest. The document is still in the process of being reviewed, but I can share the link with you when it's ready. I've also attached the PDF of my thesis, which you can share if you'd like. Of particular interest to you would probably be the third chapter, which is a white paper I've written for the LTER administrators.

Sincerely,
Laura

Sorry for the late reply – crazy semester! No worries about confidentiality on my end. I just wanted to say congratulations and wish you well. I look forward to reading your thesis during a more leisurely moment later this summer.

Could you please let me know where your presentation is uploaded? I would like to share it with the LTER Communication Committee.

All the best,

Marcia

Hello participants,

Thank you again for allowing me to interview you for my thesis research concerning science communication in LTER sites. I truly appreciated the thought-provoking conversations I had with each of you.
As promised, I want to give you the opportunity to review my work to ensure that you felt your confidentiality was kept. Please find attached a .pdf file of my draft thesis. Please let me know by May 18th if there is any point within the document that you feel your confidentiality has been compromised.

Additionally, I will be broadcasting my capstone presentation of my thesis via Google Hangout on Air: https://plus.google.com/events/cu6k6cpnk439e4ua17qegmoeb4c<https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fplus.google.com%2Fevents%2Fcu6k6cpnk439e4ua17qegmoeb4c&h=fAQGkKfCC&enc=AZPJDyw67-JVTIdWhF64BpqhmDHO2IfDxiNUeLQ0LlErYB-ITfw-nU2NErigfaBbFJY&s=1> The presentation will live stream on Monday May 18th at 9:00am EST, and a recording of the presentation will be uploaded immediately after. I hope that you can find time to watch my presentation. Feel free to share the above link with anyone you might think would be interested, as well.
