The URL that I sent you is for contributing sites to Climhy database.  I take it that you are trying to access the data only?  To access the data, you need to go to:
https://climhy.lternet.edu/

Sorry that I misunderstood (or didn't think about it hard enough).  You should have better success at this webpage.

Using the link you sent, I pull up Konza Prairie from the drop-down menu. I choose "Option 1: (Original ClimDB URL) - summary log sent to LTER site data and metadata contacts"  and then hit "harvest now." The next page I see is the error page, I'll send a screenshot of both pages.

Maddie,

Can you outline the steps that you use (site, stations, parameters) and identify at what point (plot or file download) you get the fatal error?  I am not getting an error and am able to download data.  So, I'm trying to narrow down the issue.

The site was recently (December) converted to a secure site (https) and not all connections have necessarily made.  We can look into this.

I can never remember the address so I perform a Google search for "climDB harvest page" and that is the first result. The google search has worked in the past and gotten me to where I need to be, just not recently.



Needless to say, I've bookmarked the real page now and won't have the issue again. Interestingly enough the data I'm attempting to harvest is from Konza Prairie and it gives me a "FATAL ERROR" 900 when I attempt to harvest. Not sure why that happens, but I'm finding another way to get the data I need.

No problem.  I am curious where you got that address?  Because the old address was http://www.fsl.orst.edu/climdb/harvest/harvest.htm, which gets redirected.

I am attempting to access the harvest data portion of the ClimDB/HydroDB website at http://www.fsl.orst.edu/climdb/harvest.htm and the link does not work.  I receive the following error: climhy.lternet.eduharvest.pl's server DNS address could not be found. . Has the harvest page moved elsewhere?
