On the behalf of ILTER Chair- Hideaki Shibata, I would like to draw your
kind attention regarding our first ILTER E-Newsletter. ILTER International
Management office (IMO) plans to release the E-Newsletter in this month.
For this purpose, we would like to ask you to provide any relevant
information for the e-newsletter, such as Research activity updates in the
network/site level, Events, Conferences/Meetings, Workshops/Training
courses, Novel publications, Job opportunities, and others. See more
details below.


v  *Deadline for the first E-letter*: *2020/03/19.*

The E-Newsletter will be released for certain intervals regularly


v  *How to submit your news?*

•       Please prepare a short paragraph to describe your news in word file
(should not exceed one page) with photos/ images and weblink, if available.

•       Please submit them to IMO via e-mail (imoilter.nexus at gmail.com).


v  *Why we publish the ILTER E-Newsletter?*

As you recognize from the report of action plan priority survey
(2019-2020), we identified the following top 4 plans for the initial ILTER
actions for coming years (We can expand them more, of course). The IMO
office has been planning to release the E-Newsletter to enhance the
external and internal value and visibility of the ILTER (i.e., Actions
items 8 and 9).

*Action 12*: Enhance more information sharing and delivering of ILTER's and
related activities

*Action 9*: Enhance external value and visibility of the ILTER

*Action 1*: Foster scientific initiatives including a bottom-up project
from various members

*Action 8*: Enhance internal value and visibility of the ILTER


v  *Who receive E-newsletter?*

The E-newsletter will be share to ILTER internal and external members. The
selected information in the E-newsletter will be planning to be put on the
ILTER website too.
