[LTER-students] Deadline January 27: Journalist-for-a-day at Ocean Sciences 2020

LTER Students:

Good writing skills are important in every facet of science, from relating
to colleagues and peer-reviewers to communicating with the public.  This
year at the *2020 Ocean Sciences Meeting*
<https://www.agu.org/Ocean-Sciences-Meeting>, ASLO is  offering their
*journalist-for
a day program* <https://www.aslo.org/blog-2020jforaday/>. Mentors Cheryl
Dybas (ASLO Outreach Committee) and Chris Filstrup (Deputy Editor of the *L&O
Bulletin*) will work with participants to to sharpen their reporting and
writing skills and produce a summary of a scientific session for
publication in the *L&O Bulletin*.
