Too late to register for this year, but interested grad students may want
to follow the tweetstream and keep it in mind for next year!

ComSciCon (https://comscicon.com/) is a national communicating science
workshops series organized by graduate students for graduate students. The
5th annual national workshop has just begun and over the next 3 days a
series of interaction sessions and panels will discuss communicating
science in variety of contexts using a range of platforms. The 50 graduate
student attendees were selected from over 1000 applications based on their
leadership in science communication efforts around the country. Our
attendees are very active twitter users so to hear insights from our
panelists follow #ComSciCon17.

After 5 years of local and national workshops ComSciCon has created a
network of eager young professionals. If you would like to learn more about
our organizational structure and community please reach out to me.
