A program manager position is available at Florida International University
<http://www.fiu.edu/> (FIU) to coordinate administrative functions for
the School
of Environment, Arts and Society <http://seas.fiu.edu> (SEAS) including
planning internal and external events and meetings, developing content for
communications, and managing collaborations among faculty, other FIU
offices, and external community partners.

Specific duties include serving as a liaison to faculty and professional
staff in the school, coordinating special events, official functions, and
dignitary visits, researching and developing background materials, data and
reports for meetings, events and presentations, and participating in the
long-term, strategic planning for the school. The program manager will also
request and prepare content information from faculty and center directors
for newsletters, website and social media, and work with external relations
personnel to prepare brochures, communications about special events. The
manager will also serve as a point of contact for SEAS-related enquiries
and liaison between SEAS and external agencies, partners and community
leaders. They will also collaborate with staff to manage budgets,
requisitions, and travel authorizations and work with the SEAS
international programs office to develop programs and coordinate events.

in an appropriate specialization and four years of related experience, or
