Assert Your Environmental Values Today
Support the Knowledge that Protects Nature

While we come to terms with our withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, it 
is heartening to remember that, as private citizens, we still have the power to 
uphold our environmental values.  If federal priorities related to climate change
shift away from our vision for a sustainable future, we can act at local, regional,
and state levels to bring environmental policies and practices back into alignment.
 Galvanized at the grassroots level and of our own accord, we can hold ourselves
 to a higher environmental standard.
You know that sound science is the foundation for informed policy.  It is a precious
resource, and we need your help to protect it, now more than ever.  Hubbard Brook
scientists have been studying forest and aquatic ecosystems for more than 6 decades.
 Among many policy outcomes, this research informed the Clean Air Act Amendments
 that protect our air and water quality today.  If federal funding is diverted away
from ecosystem studies like Hubbard Brook, we will count on support from private
 citizens like you to re-balance our budgets so that our scientific work can continue.
