Hi all,

I appreciate you sharing the attached job description with your networks.
We are keeping the application period open at least until UCSB gets back in
session. We realized that advertising in the summer was not ideal, and
while we have one qualified candidate, we want to make sure that we provide
the opportunity for students who were not here over the summer to apply.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and we will plan to do
interviews in early October. If anyone knows how to get this on other
graduate student lists in addition to Bren, please let me know or forward
the announcement on to those contacts. Candidates must be current UCSB
students (graduate students preferred but advanced undergraduates will also
be considered). If applicants are nearing completion of their degree,
please note that they will be able to work for an additional quarter after
they graduate.

I very much appreciate your help in getting the word out about this great
opportunity!

thanks,

Laura
