[LTER-sbc_grad] LTER Updates

Hi Everyone,

Some updates below from the recent Grad Reps meeting. Please let me know if
you have any questions.

1. Cedar Creek is starting up a citizen science program using camera traps.
If you are interested in wildlife tracking please take a look at this! (

2. Kristen Weiss is making a video on how students get involved with the
LTER. She is hoping for video footage and/or photos of anything showing
grad students or undergrads doing research, giving presentations, working
in the lab/field, interacting with advisors, etc. If you had videos or
photos you would like to contribute, email Kristen (weiss at nceas.ucsb.edu)
3. We are starting an LTER Instagram account to showcase the work that we
do. A new member of the LTER community will be highlighted each week and
post a few photos throughout the week. If you are interested or would like
to nominate someone please contact me. (brian.st.kim at utexas.ed).
