El Departamento de Recursos Naturales Ambientales y el Instituto Internacional de Dasonomía Tropical les invitan al primer Encuentro Científico de Bosques  Secos en Puerto Rico el día 11 de noviembre de 2015.  El lugar será anunciado.  Le invitamos a participar del mismo y compartir su trabajo con el resto de la comunidad científica de bosques secos.  Solicitamos nos confirme su interés y eventual participación en el mismo a la brevedad posible.  De igual manera le solicitamos incluya el tema de su presentación, la cual anticipamos será de 5-10 minutos.  Oportunamente les estaremos enviando más información sobre la actividad.

Pedimos por favor que comparta este mensaje con otras personas que lleven a cabo investigaciones en bosques secos en Puerto Rico y disculpen si recibe este mensaje más de una vez.

The Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the International Institute of Tropical Forestry invite you to the first Scientific Meeting on Dry Forests in Puerto Rico to be held on November 11, 2015.  The location of the meeting is pending.  We invite you to participate in this meeting and share your research with the rest of the dry forests scientific community.  Please let us know of your interest and planned participation as soon as possible by including the topic of your presentation, which we expect will be from 5-10 minutes long.  We will be providing more information as it becomes available.

We also ask that you share this message with others who do research on dry forests in Puerto Rico.  To confirm participation please send a message with the title of your participation or poster to Mildred Alayón at malayon at fs.fed.us<mailto:malayon at fs.fed.us> on or before August 31.
