outreach training for scientists of all levels who are new to outreach.
Several sports are reserved specifically for LTER grad students.   Any

Hi All,

The SciFund Challenge coordinators have reserved several spots specifically
for LTER graduate students. It would be great if we could get at least one
person from each site apply for the course and then share what they learn
with the rest of the students. If you or someone at your site is
interested, applications need to be in by this coming Thursday. My
experience Make sure to mention that you are an LTER student in the
application. Here's the blurb for the course:

Are you interested in connecting to the public with your research? If
so, you're in luck. SciFund Challenge (a non-profit organization) is
organizing an outreach training class for scientists that will be
running for five weeks, from late October to late November. The class
is free and is intended for scientists that are new to outreach, but
would like to get started with it. The class is open to scientists at
any level, in any discipline. The class will be conducted over the
Internet, so all countries are welcome. The deadline to fill out the
short application form is October 16th. You can find more information
