thanks john,

the only metric i had was my thunderbird telling me how many email 
recipients in one of those emails to all attendees, plugin a WG session.

still, this ASM felt much smaller and quieter. if i had to give a ball 
park number, i'd given 350.  perhaps it is the void marsh left.  totally 
subjective.
