Dear colleagues,
Let me begin by thanking you for your continued commitment to this exercise. We had a productive week at the ESIP meeting and I would like to thank both the attendees and also to those who made the time to join our discussions remotely, which was less than a perfect connection, I am sure. Everyone's input is greatly appreciated!
Attached is a presentation that we can walk through with the full IMC during the two upcoming VTC sessions. We wanted to send this out in advance, so it needed to include enough text to hopefully explain the graphics. Text and graphics have been mainly pulled from existing content and updated where necessary to reflect our latest thinking. I will talk folks through this on Wednesday and Thursday with your additional input, as you see fit. If you see anything in the contents that jars with what we have discussed, let me know. Otherwise we can clarify and expand on each slide, as needed, during the course of the VTCs.
I will call Bob Waide this week to update him because our current plans are to retain Mark and Duane, if at all possible. I will then speak to Saran on the same topic. I will also put in a working group submission for the ASM to share this idea more broadly, although this will only be needed if we vote to proceed with this initiative.
Thanks again!
