EDI Update - January 2022

How Fair are our Data? Find out in our Feb 15th webinar.
We introduce criteria for evaluating data and metadata regarding their "FAIRness" and discuss how they may be applied in EDI. The criteria were developed by DataONE<https://www.dataone.org/>. FAIR - findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable<https://bit.ly/3o3vbw6> is a framework for communicating quality of metadata.

Most Cited Data Contribution
Did you know that you can add references for journal articles to a data package if the data package has been cited, or was used as the source data in the article? Watch this how-to tutorial: https://youtu.be/XyyrH4EzTNc for more information. EDI's most cited data contribution with 25 references is:[https://mcusercontent.com/c258a774cbd4d34290410d1ea/images/e9d65e12-bed7-a34a-daf3-743d20f35f3f.jpg]
