[LTER-im] RESCHEDULED: IM Virtual Water Cooler for October

Dear IMs,


The October Virtual Water Cooler has been postponed for one week due to the Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday. We'll have the VWC on Monday, October 18 at 3pm ET/12pm PT. The agenda is still under development, but we'll be setting aside some time for learning about and discussing site identifiers (ROR<https://ror.org/>, ISNI, and similar), and we will gather some feedback needed for the IMC's annual report to the Network. The site identifier discussion will kick off an effort to have sites acquire and use these identifiers, so you may want to read up on those in advance of the VWC.

  *   General news and announcements (All, bring your good news!) ~5 min
  *   Feedback on the IMC annual report  (~15 min)
  *   Research identifiers ( ~25 minutes)
  *   Discussion forum about identifiers (~15 minutes)
