Update on the EMLassemblyline - an R package for creating metadata in EML

Today, 19 January 2021 at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT)

The EMLassemblyline (EAL) is optimal for recurring data publications with metadata in the Ecological Metadata Language<https://environmentaldatainitiative.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c258a774cbd4d34290410d1ea&id=c2addef370&e=1202661e8d> (EML) but works well for “one-off” publications. EAL prioritizes automated metadata extraction from data objects to minimize required human effort and encourages EML best practices to make data publications Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
