Hi all, a friendly reminder of our scheduled VWC today. Also, my original
message had a slight error, which I have corrected below. Please be
reminded that expectations of LTER Network IMs are detailed in the IMC
Bylaws

of which the latest revision (v4) recently received unanimous approval. If

Greetings IMC,

Our next monthly Virtual Water Cooler (VWC) is just around the corner,
on *Monday,
August 9th @ 12p PT / 3p ET*. This month's VWC will set the stage for the
ClimDB workshop at our upcoming IMC Annual Meeting (a roughly all-day
meeting scheduled for Monday, September 13th). We'd like to take the
opportunity to remind all LTER IMs that attendance at the annual meeting *is
**expected*. Along these lines, IM attendance and participation at all of
our monthly VWCs *is expected* from all 28 sites in the LTER Network
(excepting occasional conflicts within reason).

At the August VWC, IM Exec members Tim Whiteaker and Greg Maurer will
briefly outline the plan for harmonizing meteorological and hydrological
datasets across the LTER Network, introduce the ODM CSV data format,
discuss lingering issues, and lay out next steps for all IMs to prepare for
the ClimDB workshop.
