LTER Information Managers and friends,
As an ESIP Partner Organization, the LTER IMC has the opportunity to vote
in ESIP elections and to comment on new-partner applications. The election
for ESIP officers is underway, and we are in an open comment period for
several proposed, new partners.
IMExec will cast the IMC's single vote in the upcoming election, and we
very much welcome input from the IMC on that vote. Please see this
<https://wiki.esipfed.org/Nomination_Committee/2021_Nominations_and_Ballot>
link for a review of people running for positions and their statement of
interest.
IMExec is not planning to offer comment on any of the new-partner
applications, but we are very happy to consider and pass along any input
from the IMC. Please see this
<https://wiki.esipfed.org/Partnership_Applications> link for a review of
the new-partner applicants.
Please submit input on either the election of officers or new-partner
applicants to IMExec (imexec at lternet.edu) by the close of business day this
coming Friday December 18th.
Thank you,
Stevan Earl on behalf of IMExec
