Dear Eda,
With my whole heart I thank you for all these long years doing IM for your
site and always participating in the IMC. Your spirit shaped the IMC,
influenced our practices both informally and in the writing of our bylaws.
You have been an example of doing what is needed for the IMC as a whole,
with your recent term as DataBits as just one example.
Yet I am glad to hear you are looking forward to this next chapter of life
for yourself because you do deserve to enjoy your retirement. And I hope it
helps you accept this change to know that this new crew of site IMs appear
to be eager and trained in the new generation of technical skills. I can
say this is a good time to be handing over the reins.
Thank you for your years of service to the IMC!
Gastil
