AGU Data Help Desk

EDI TECHNICAL INFORMATION & DEVELOPMENTS

New Functions Supporting ISO 8601 Datetimes
Functions supporting ISO 8601 datetimes are now available from the dataCleanr R library. Create ISO 8601 character strings with iso8601_char. Read ISO 8601 character strings with iso8601_read. Detect ISO 8601 format string with iso8601_format. These functions support valid ISO8601 datetime resolutions and time zones. Workshops
EDI plans to host a workshop in March 2019 on the use of existing vocabularies in EML annotation (ENVO, EnvThes, LTER Controlled Vocabulary). EDI will work with LTER and the broader community to develop topics for discussion. Watch for future announcements about how you may participate!
