Hello,
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's E-Enterprise for the Environment Advanced Monitoring Team is seeking your review of its Draft Data Standards Report entitled "An Evaluation and Recommendation for Data Standards for Continuous Monitoring Data." The report describes existing standards for such continuous monitoring data so EPA, State and Tribes can apply standard(s) that are appropriate for specific uses. All of the standards are useful depending on the situation. Use of this report would be entirely voluntary.

We are asking for review by people who could use this guidance, namely environmental data users at the federal, State and Tribal levels and data standards organizations. We would appreciate your broad feedback on how this report could fit your needs. We request that you address these questions in your review and send them to us via email:

  1.  What is missing
  2.  What could be clarified?
  3.  How could this report be made more useful?
  4.  How could this report be disseminated to potential users?
If you would like to provide more detailed comments, please use the attached table.

Please send your comments via email to Ethan McMahon at mcmahon.ethan at epa.gov<mailto:mcmahon.ethan at epa.gov> by Friday, November 17. We will evaluate the comments and revise the report accordingly.
