To apply for funding please download the EDI travel application (http://environmentaldatainitiative.org/travel), follow instructions there and send to Kristin Vanderbilt (krvander at fiu.edu<mailto:krvander at fiu.edu>) or Corinna Gries (cgries at wisc.edu<mailto:cgries at wisc.edu>). Please remember to outline how you will participate in the ESIP meeting (poster, oral presentation, session organizer, invited session participant, etc.). Acceptable budget items are early registration fee, transportation (will be booked through UW), meals, and hotel. Please also include whether you were able to obtain additional funds from a different source.
Deadline to apply: March 31st, 2017
Confirmation of funding: April 5th, 2017
The EDI team will collectively make funding decisions. Individual funding rates will depend on demand vs. availability and funding is not guaranteed, but EDI is looking for strong participation of environmental data managers representing the 'long tail' of environmental data management.
Thanks
The EDI Team
