Colleagues and Friends -

It was very touching to be acknowledged by you the people I have
worked closest with and respect the most. The last 20 years ( of my 30
years with LTER ) have been the most exciting and challenging of my
career as I attempted to coax, cajole, bribe, and blackmail you
towards what I believe is still a shared vision of information
management for LTER. Jests aside, I was deeply honored. I will apply
your generous gift towards something that will aide my next 30 years
of leisure and adventure (pictures when available).

Your humble servant (tick, tick, tick),

James
