Hi Mark,
The Doodle Poll regarding whether the LTER Metacat files within DataONE should be hidden or not is completehttp://doodle.com/poll/uw87khqqyhhsiry5 . The final vote among the LTER IMs is 24 LTER sites (James Conners has 2 votes) for hiding the Metacat files in DataONE and 1 LTER Site against (AND) and that is because not all of the AND LTER Data are listed in PASTA.  AND is working towards that goal, and as stated by Suzanne Remillard, once the files are all in PASTA, then their Metacat files can be hidden too.
Now that you know exactly where the LTER sites stand on this issue, could you please take the necessary steps in hiding all the LTER sites Metacat Data in DataONE with the exception of the Andrews LTER site?  We really appreciate all that you do for us and realize that this isn't a trivial task...thank you very much!
Best,
Linda
