[LTER-education] Edu Question for Science Council Meeting

Thank you for that very helpful input, Steve-- But are we asking this
question of NSF who will also be at the SCM or of the Science Council? How
would we expect the PI's/Science Council to put their heads together to
answer this question/solve this "problem" for us?
Can site review guidelines/recommendations be created by the SC so that
both NSF reviewers and sites and shooting to measure and present the same
thing? These are the "goals" of LTER from the website:

*Outreach: To reach out to the broader scientific community, natural
resource managers, policymakers, and the general public by providing
decision support, information, recommendations, and the knowledge and
capability to address complex environmental challenges.*
*Education: To promote training, teaching, and learning about long-term
ecological research and the Earth’s ecosystems, and to educate a new
generation of scientists.*
