This could be a great resource. I might throw my hat in the ring for their
advisory group.

Dear members:

I’m pleased to share an opportunity with you from our partner, World
Resources Institute (WRI). WRI, along with 30 partner organizations, is in
the process of developing a new data mapping tool called Resource Watch.
Now in beta form, Resource Watch is an online platform that provides
trusted and timely data for a sustainable future. It features hundreds of
data sets all in one place on issues facing people and the planet, from
climate change to poverty, water risk to state instability, air pollution
to human migration, and more. Additional information is available at
https://resourcewatch.org/
<https://naaee.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=15540&qid=3970419>
.

NAAEE and the Resource Watch team are looking for a small group of
educators to serve as advisors, providing input on how best this online
tool can be used in middle and high school classrooms, at informal learning
centers, and at universities. This opportunity is designed for educators
who regularly use computers and the internet in their work.

The time commitment will be minimal—requiring one phone call session and
perhaps one or two follow up sessions. This is a great opportunity to help
shape the education component of a truly groundbreaking learning tool, meet
fellow educators interested in using data in the classroom, and share your
story as an educator.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please send an email to Melissa
Taggart, Director of International Programs (mlhopkins100 at gmail.com
<https://naaee.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=15541&qid=3970419>)
*by Tuesday, May 14, 2019*. In the email, please provide the following:

   - *Your name*
   - *What age group do you teach?*
   - *Formal, non-formal, or university?*
   - *What interests you most about an online tool like this?*

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Judy Braus
