This is the source of funds for the Undergraduate Field Experience Research
Network (UFERN) that Kari is the PI of.
Scott Collins forwarded this to me yesterday wondering if it might be a
source for cross-site REU. It’s NOT a source for funding students, but it
might be a source for supporting cross-site research by undergraduates.

*Subject:* [LTER-education] RCN for Undergraduate Biology Education
Hi Folks,
You may have already seen this announcement for an RCN focused on
Undergraduate Biology Education but if not take a look at the attached PDF.
Proposals are due January 22, 2019.
The RCN-UBE program funds the creation of networks of researchers,
educators, and other stakeholders that improve undergraduate biology. Among
other things, awards can be used to build community, develop standards,
address interdisciplinary topics, and minimize duplication of efforts. The
theme of an RCN-UBE proposal can be any topic likely to improve
undergraduate biology education.
Cheers,
Sam
