Nonrandom changes in biodiversity and EF led by Tim Newbold
The group has been doing further work on the analyses (PREDICTS, NutNet and BioTime data). Laura and Tim have continued to discuss the framing of the paper.

BEF causality review led by Laura Dee
Laura sent draft on Sept 7 and is awaiting revisions and contributed sections from coauthors - due Oct 2! Please let her know if that timeline does not work for you and you are still interested in being involved.

NutNet BEF causality analysis led by Laura Dee
Same as before - A few people contacted Laura about wanting to contribute to this paper as authors. Analyses are done, and Laura is working on writing. She will send an update to the people who contacted her.

Instrumental variables with Cedar Creek biodiversity and fertilization experiments led by Jane Cowles
No update at this time.

Quantifying performance-enhancing insurance effects led by Forest Isbell
Dozens of grassland and forest diversity experiments have now submitted data. Forest is still waiting on data from a few more studies. He will soon begin analyzing these data. This is an opt-out paper, so you will all (eventually) receive a draft of the manuscript with an invitation to collaborate.

Global drivers of biodiversity loss (N) led by Yann Hautier
