PGC Tasking Request Table Field Descriptions - 2015


The criteria for point locations is as follows:
1. Must be at least 14km apart
2. Highest repeat frequency is once every 2 weeks for mono collections and once every month for stereo collections.
3. Submission of point locations only please.  Image collections will result in a 17kmx17km image over each location.  Area submissions will not be accepted unless coordinated with your PGC Point of Contact.


Field descriptions:
Site_Name: Unique name of individual site location
Latitude (decimal degrees): Latitude in decimal degrees
Longitude (decimal degrees): Longitude in decimal degrees
Description: Description of the site and/or feature type - be as specific as possible (ie: Mount Discovery)
Data_Source: Where the data/locations were aquired from.  If it is your personal data, include your first and last name.
Requirements: Frequency of collection (maximum every 2 weeks for mono, monthly for stereo), Stereo or Mono collection, Panchromatic or Multispectral collection
PI/Requesting Party: Person Requesting tasking locations or Principal Investigator of the project/grant for which these locations are being tasked.
Project/Award Number: The (NSF/NASA) award/grant number and associated event number (e.g. T-434-M) these tasking locations are associated with.
Year_Submitted: Current year of submission.
Start Date: Date to begin collections
End Date: Date to end collections
