folder the .enl is saved. It does give you an error message but
continues to import the list with success. So do the following:</div><ul dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19872"><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19871"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19877"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19878">Open the End Note program (File > Close Library)==></span></span>Closes any list you may have opened previously and that shows automatically when you open the program</li><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19871"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19881"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19882">Do File > Open Library; go to the subdirectory the .enl file is and open it.</span></span></li><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19871"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19881"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19882">When the warning pops up click [OK] and wait until it imports the list. ==>This will create the Data folder in the subdirectory you saved the lonely .enl file.</span></span></li></ul><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19018"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868"><br clear="none"></span></span></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19051"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">If you have a .enw (not .enl), do the following:</span></span></div><ul id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19246"><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19245"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">Open the End Note program</span></span></li><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19245"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">Close any previous list that you may have and that shows automatically when you open the program</span></span></li><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19245"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">Select File>New</span></span></li><ul dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19377"><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19245"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">This will prompt you to save a file. Name it and click [Save]==》this will create the data folder you need.</span></span></li></ul><li id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_19245"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18866"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473774253944_18868">Now you can import the file (if its not .enl, for example if it its .enw). says it is a zipped file with two other extensions. When I try to
import the .enl into EndNote, it asks me for the .data file. Do
