<span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica neue,helvetica,sans-serif">The Environmental Data Initiative (EDI) announces its 2019 Summer Data Management Fellowship Program.
<strong>We are now accepting applications from projects/sites interested in hosting a fellow.</strong><br>
<br>
In agreement with EDI’s mission of accelerating curation and archive of environmental data, the focus of the fellowships is on data archiving and publishing as well as on developing a longer-term data management strategy for the host sites/projects.<br>
<br>
The 2-month fellowship is intended for undergraduate, graduate and recent postgraduate students. Each fellow will receive a stipend of $5000 which will be administered through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. EDI will train and mentor the fellows, while
the hosts are expected to provide access to data sets and personnel able to answer content-related questions in a timely manner.<br>
