          49.000000%)">A two-year postdoctoral position is available in
          the Polito Lab at Louisiana State University,
          Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences. The
          postdoctoral researcher will focus on the analysis of
          bulk tissue and compound-specific stable isotope measurements
          of amino acids to help understand the
          ecological effects of multiple stressors and subsequent
          restoration practices on the trophic structure and flow
          of energy through coastal saltmarsh food webs. This position
          will include both laboratory and fieldwork as part
          of a large, interdisciplinary consortium of researchers
          studying coastal environments in the Northern Gulf of
          Mexico.

              ecology, but candidates with diverse research backgrounds
              are encouraged to apply. Experience operating
              small boats and conducting fieldwork in estuarine systems
              is also desirable but not required.

              will be approximately $48,500 USD per year plus benefits
              and up to a $3,000
              relocation incentive payment. Grant funding includes
              travel costs to attend 1-2 scientific conferences per
              year.
