such as warming, drought, organic matter additions, and nutrient manipulations (see below). Many LTER experiments would be a great fit for this session.<span class="m-1159749257459807792apple-converted-space"> </span><b>Please forward this to any interested

for which we have no current analog and to understand the cascading effects of global change factors, such as warming, N deposition, CO2 fertilization, and drought, on<span class="m-1159749257459807792apple-converted-space"> </span>soil<span class="m-1159749257459807792apple-converted-space"> </span>biogeochemical
processes. Long term experiments are especially important for revealing non-linear and threshold-type responses that could not have been predicted from the initial responses.
